Inspired by those that came before me
Growing up in the best place on earth has fuelled a deep passion to contribute to the community I love. While my Dad has always been my hero for his community volunteerism, friendly demeanour and steady leadership, my Mom instilled in me a deep sense of compassion for those less fortunate.
My folks worked for the federal government, so I grew up hearing them talk about daily life in the public service. It made me curious about how I could achieve excellence in government, so I followed my sister into political science at Carleton University.
Since then, I have pursued excellence, through innovation, collaboration and relentlessly learning from people around me. Deep down at my core, I am on a mission to leverage my skills, knowledge, experience and the support I have received in life, to create opportunity for everyone.
I am grateful to follow in the foot steps of many generations that came before me, each contributing in their own way to the town Arnprior is today, and what it can become tomorrow. Booyah!
