Eric's Inspiration
Eric was born on the edge of Arnprior, just like generations before him. The stories of his ancestors shaped his deep love for the land, forests, fields, and rivers. Raised in Arnprior, he was surrounded by extended family, friends, and trusted neighbours, all of whom inspired him to dedicate his life to the betterment of this community.
Now, as a father, Eric knows that Arnprior is the only place on earth where he can live surrounded by such a supportive network of friends and family. There truly is nowhere like it.
In his heart, he believes Arnprior is the Best Place on Earth, making it the greatest place in the world for him and his family, where the spirit of community thrives alongside economic development. Booyah!

Eric has a deep appreciation and understanding of how community leaders have shaped the community we proudly call Arnprior, the Best Place on Earth. From business leaders and community builders to volunteers and elected officials, Eric has worked alongside the Legends of Arnprior, who all share a common thread - they draw inspiration from those who came before them and tell their stories. Their collective efforts contribute to the economic development that makes Arnprior truly the greatest place in the world, where the spirit of 'Booyah' resonates in every initiative.

Eric's vision is to deeply engage the community in long-term planning and mobilize resources for economic development that builds a future reflecting the values and aspirations of residents, now and for generations to come.
He wants his friends, family, and neighbors to live happily in Arnprior, which he believes is the Best Place on Earth, so he can grow old surrounded by them. For this to be possible, they need job opportunities, affordable places to live, and a deep sense of belonging. Booyah to a bright future in Arnprior!

Awards - Recognized for achieving excellence by the Government of Alberta, Simon Fraser University, and the economic development association of Alberta, BC, and Canada, reinforcing Arnprior as the Best Place on Earth.
Experience - With 20 years of management experience in government, non-profit organizations, and business, including 10 years as CEO of an award-winning national consulting firm, I have contributed to making Arnprior the greatest place in the world for economic development.
Education - Trained in political science, municipal policy, government management, entrepreneurship, economic development, and strategic planning, I bring a wealth of knowledge to community initiatives like Booyah.
Determination - Successfully championed the creation of Arnprior’s Partners in Caring Foundation, an economic development program, a skateboard park, and a downtown farmers market, all aimed at enhancing our community.
